    TCI Automotive provides a limited warranty covering manufacturing defects for 30 days on racing equipment and 90 days on street/strip equipment, valid only for the original purchaser with proof of purchase. Approved transmission fluid and cooler flush products are required, and claims must be authorized through Edelbrock Group Tech Support. The warranty excludes modified, improperly installed or maintained, abused, accident‑damaged, improperly cooled, or unauthorized repaired products.

    This cover corrected a small leak from the original cover. It fit nice and snug and sealed up nicely using an anaerobic sealer.

    I had a serious transmission leak on the 350 turbo transmission in my hot rod. It looked like a simple leak at the transmission pan. I tried everything I knew to fix the problem--new gaskets, new pan, everything. Slowed the leak down, but still a few drops every day. I finally learned that it was the governor cover above the back of the pan that was the real culprit. A slight leak there will masquerade as a pan leak. The only way to tell is to get everything really clean at the back of the tranny pan. Wipe everything as best you can, including where the governor cover seals. With your finger put a little talcum powder around the cover seal. If it is leaking, it will show up there. That powder will get wet if it is leaking. The product from TCI worked perfectly. I used a little RTV on the edge of where it seals along with the supplied rubber seal. Zero leak. All works as it should. Thanks, Speedway Motors!
