Overall Assessment

The product, an auto rear spring conversion kit, is highly recommended by customers for its quality, good fit, and easy installation. Many have described it as a major upgrade that makes older cars drive like new. Shoppers praised its excellent, sturdy, and reliable construction designed for longevity. Even though some found the instructions could be clearer, many found the installation process straightforward enough with mechanical skills. The kit is recognized as a substantial improvement over competitors’ offerings, with users particularly impressed by the heavy-duty materials used, its practicality, and great value for money. Some clients had to modify parts slightly for a perfect fit, but satisfaction remains high overall.

exactly what a 1952 chevy styleline sport coup needs.

with up dating just abut every necessary suspension and safety issue on the car with out going over board on all the parts available today, this leaf spring kit from TCI is perfect. I also saved about $150.00 over buying directly from TCI according to a gentleman who works for TCI, he is the one who turned me on to Speedway to make my first purchase ever from them. Since that purchase I have bought more parts from them since.

I've had this on my car (51 Chevy) for about 3 years now and have driven it about 5-7 k miles. Smooth ride and durability. Do the occasional hole shot and burnout with no issues.

True to the description it's bolt in, that being said I had to drill out the mounting brackets because they were just a tick small for bolts.

Came with everything needed for rear spring conversion. Fit was excellent, good instructions, both paper and online, and installation was straightforward. You will need some mechanical abilities and a selection of tools to get the job done! Axle wrap has been eliminated and ride height is about even from the 76 year old factory springs that were sagging.

This 49-54 Chevy Car Rear Leaf Spring Kit is the only way to go when replacing the original 216, torque tube driveline and off-set rear axle with much more modern drive train. This rear kit along with a 'Mustang II" front rack and pinion, disk brake front suspension will enable my 1949 Chevrolet Fleetline Special 2-door drive and handle like a 'new' car. I am very pleased with all the products I buy from Speedway Motors...
