Sweet Manufacturing 401-80630 Details

Sometimes you need just a little bit more clearance than a standard steering u-joint can give you. Our double u-joints allow up to 70 degrees of angle or 1" of offset for just those occasions. These steering universal joints are made of forged vanadium steel and real needle bearing joints.  5-5/8" overall length.

  • Overall length is 5-1/2”
  • O.D. at ends is 1.12”
  • O.D. in the middle is 1.476”
  • O.D. at caps is 1.350”
  • O.D. at cap retainer screws is 1.545”
  • Length of center section is 2-3/4”

Note: GM columns measure slightly less than 1" while IDIDIT and Flaming River columns measure a true 1".  DO NOT interchange these u-joints.
