Sweet Manufacturing 401-80612 Details

Sometimes you need just a little bit more clearance than a standard steering u-joint can give you. Our double u-joints allow up to 70 degrees of angle or 1" of offset for just those occasions. This Mustang II power rack steering universal joint is made of forged vanadium steel and real needle bearing joints.  5-5/8" overall length.

Note: GM columns measure slightly less than 1" while IDIDIT and Flaming River columns measure a true 1".  DO NOT interchange these u-joints.

This is a very nice piece. Smaller in diameter than Borgeson, with retainer bolts rather than punch dimples on the Borgeson to retain the bearing caps. Compatible with Borgeson splined shaft perfectly. I will purchase several of these for an industrial project over the Borgeson after looking at both closely.
