I wish I would have read the previous user that states the same issue of not being designed properly. 3/16 too short between bracket and axle tube. Filling in with weld will over heat axle tube cause warpage of the tube.

The caliper weld on bracket must be raised off axle tube by 3/16" to properly locate bracket holes with caliper holes. Welding bracket requires filling a 3/16" gap. I compared this bracket with competitors bracket to confirm my conclusion
