Speedway Motors 91011591 Details

About the only way your 97 could have a tight throttle shaft would be if you found a NOS carb somewhere. Now you can build yourself a dual or triple carb three deuce set-up that will run like new. We offer you these new extended throttle shafts that are .282", which is .005" oversize. You simply run a 9/32" drill bit or reamer through the base plate and you now have a tight carb again.

  • Stub shaft to clamp a linkage arm onto it for multi-carb linkage

The extended throttle shaft is a fine product and am glad Speedy carries this. The only thing I have run into is that the so called extended throttle shaft on the 9 Super 7 carb 915-11655 and the new base assemblies 910-11692 is a shorter throttle shaft by about 1/2 inch. It would have worked better for me if these all were the long size as in 910-11591. Thanks, Tom S
