Overall Assessment

The product is highly praised for its strong performance, usability, and good quality. Many customers find it easy to install and set it up with their vehicles. Notably, the shifter has a securing feature that prevents it from jumping out of high gear, increasing its safety. Customers use it for a variety of applications including circle track cars, pulling trucks, and B MODs, highlighting its versatility. A predominant concern mentioned is the confusion about the product description, particularly the length of the rods. Despite the discrepancy, the shifter's effectiveness and great value validate it as a choice above its competitors.

Perfect set up for column shift delete

Seems like a pretty nice little set up , removed a few spacers,on lock lever so it was closeas it could be to the lever , knotched out another groove in lever so I can lock it into first gear and nuetral and then use the open right hand side shifter for the 2n3 rd gears sweet set up but didn't even come with a sticker !!! Was super sad about that lol

The catalog describes the shifter rod lengths as 20 AND 24 inches, it arrived with two 20 inch rods. The length of the rods were part of the reason that I purchased this shifter. The order desk and customer service agreed that the description was confusing. Customer service said that it was changed online and would be changed in the new catalog. Customer service said that I could return the shifter and receive my money back, except that it had already been installed. So I am left holding the bag because I interpreted the description as two different length rods. Listed below the shifters in the catalog are shifter rods, maybe customer service could come up with a solution other than "sorry".

I used it in a pulling truck with a Profab reverser and it worked perfectly. I used the locking lever for the forward gear, and the other lever for the brake.

Can you get two rods the same length for a Bert transmission. Unlike a Brinn or Saginaw on the Bert the shifter connections are the same distance apart, top and bottom not front and rear. Two 15.5" rods would be great, but the 20" inch rod would be way to long.

How do you connect this to a Bert LMZ? Do you change the rods ends out? Or just use the rod ends with bolts through the clevis on the transmission? It seems I need something that will go around the clecisnon the transmission for proper security.
