I mounted it dirrectly on my TKO600 using an adapter from silver sport transmissions and wired it to a stewart warner wings speedometer....worked great. I did have to shorten the shaft a little and taper the end of the hex nut..

when the sening unit is bolted to the trans. should it move around.. like swing left and right or should noy move at all? when I am under the trans if you put your hand on the sending unit it will swivel. Should that not do that or does it swing freely? It's bolted to the trans., but you can move the sending unit and the wires are attached. It's a GM 350 trans. Thank you Hwyharv
