Customers appreciate the gauge set for its high quality and old school look, fitting perfectly in vintage cars. Many found the electric speedometer easy to calibrate and comment on the product's aesthetic appeal. Issues were highlighted with poor instructions and cheap looking plastic pointers for a particular electric kit. However, a key standout feature is the easy installation and clear wiring diagrams, even for first-timers. The Stewart Warner Gauges garner praise for their quality and usability against rival brands.

I would like to give these gauges 5 stars, but, the temperature gauge, one of the 5 gauges in my 30 A does not work correctly. It continually climbs slowely from 190⁰ to 230⁰ and back down. Continually...up..down...up...down. The car is not too hot, does not boil over and when checked multiple times with lazer temp. gun, it shows 185, always. More of a mental thing watching it move, but it shouldn't.

I'm adding this gauge set to a '34 Ford coupe hot rod build and wanted something with an old school look. I've never had an issue with SW instruments.

bought the 82229 electric kit from speedway. Does not look like the old style, cheap looking plastic pointers. If you need the instuctions they are a joke, poorly written, printed, even cheap paper. The speedometer sending unit would not fit my turbo 350. called service (which is some unknown parent company) he told me to bring it to a machine shop and have it turned down. this is on a standard gm 350. Much better gauges out there.

My Steward Warner guages are great looking and live up to the ads in magazines I have read. The insitlation and wiring diagrams are simple and easy to use. Even a first timer can feel comfortable doing his own wiring.

I am looking at the SW Wings series 5 guage set with the electric speedometer. I have a Ford C4 trans. The 366ADB sender that is recommended is pictured with a cable hook up and no wires. Is the picture not correct for the sender? Thanks
