Details
Steering shaft is 3/4" O.D round material with a 1" long 3/4" "DD" design on each end. (see note below)
This steering shaft entails:
- 1018 Steel
- 3/4" DD configuration on each end and will be a 3/4" Weld-on if cut to length
- Excellent for steering shafts or other uses
- Order desired length
NOTE: This DD shaft is only milled with flats on both ends for 1" of length of the shaft. It is not milled the entire length of the shaft and therefore, can not be cut to length unless it is going to be welded to a 3/4" round or has new flats milled into the end. Please see Flaming River DD shaft if fully machined DD shaft is required.

Been purchasing from Speedway several years. Have bought a lot of parts over those years. I have only purchased one product in those years I felt was defective and unsafe. I talked to Speedway tech and they advised me how to adjust (Vega style steering box) it. However I never felt it was safe to drive. I had purchased one before for another roadster i was building and it was perfect. The purchase of one of your uninteresting racks eliminated my problem. I feel the Vega bos was defective but after installing it, it was two years before I got it on the road. I felt it would be a loss to try to return

Heading not correct, Round w/ 1'' DD end
A better pic of the product would help and corect the title, Double D shaft is Double D from one end to the other, this has 1" of Double D on each end. This product cannot be cut to fit.

My Internet didn't load the picture completely, and I mistakenly ordered this, thinking it was completely machined for double D.... It showed up, machined only on the ends.
