These right hand standard rod ends are a general purpose, two-piece design. They have a carbon steel body and a hardened steel ball without a race (metal to metal contact).
Applications: Clutch, brake, steering linkage, & suspension components on moderate horsepower applications.
Assembly: To ease assembly, be sure to run a tap or die through the threads on chrome plated fasteners and apply an anti-seize compound to prevent galling of the threads.

Been using these for years.
I have used these same Heim Joints (in various sizes) on the last several cars I have built, both hot rods and race cars. I am yet to ever have one break and they hold up very well with just a little lubrication two or three times per year with some white lithium spray grease. Also, I haven't found any supplier that beats Speedway's price.
