These standard rod ends are a general purpose, two piece design. They have a carbon steel body and a hardened ball with metal to metal contact.
Applications: Clutch, brake, steering linkage, and suspension components on moderate horsepower applications.
Assembly Tip: To ease assembly, be sure to run a tap or die through the threads on chrome plated fasteners and apply an anti-seize compound to prevent galling of the threads.

Decent, but wouldn't use these for anything critical.
I bought these for a non-critical application ( firewall to suspension brace) which should be under compression constantly, but would not recommend for anything critical or any application where the force will shift between tension and compression often. The ball ends just feels a little loose for that.
