Speedway Motors 91036003 Details
These are the headlight and shock mounts we designed for our T-buckets. They were designed to be welded to the outside edge of the frame rail with the shock mounting on outside (front) of the bracket.
- Mounts have 1/2" holes for Dietz style or other headlights
- Each mount has two different 1/2" hole locations for upper shock mounting
- Weld-on to frame rail
- Shock bolts to outside, front of mount
- Inner shock bolt hole is 5-7/8” from top of frame and inside outer edge of frame ¼”
- Outer shock hole is 6” from top of frame and outside frame 1”
- Headlight hole is 3-3/8” outside of frame and up from frame 6-7/8”
Be sure to purchase our shock mount bolts (sold separately) with installation of these brackets.
Note: For use with radius rod front suspensions and Speedway T-Bucket 4-bar kits. Will not work with Model A and newer 4-bar kits.

Great solution not alot of space, But no
I'm builiding traditional 1929 Model A. Due to the low ride height and limited room i needed a mount for headlights and shocks. This part was the answer. But beware these mounts are made for and designed for Speedway's T-bucket kits. If you are building a low car with a custom frame like mine they may not work. I bought them for my car and due to the ride height being so low these mounts were not tall enough. I had to buy some 1/4 steel and have a custom mount laser cut out to resemble these mounts. It would be nice if speedway could sell the same mount but with extra material a couple inches taller so they could be cut and made to fit anything with any ride height.

good looking parts, well built, BUT they do not specx that the shock mounts to the OUTSIDE or INSIDE of these brackets NOR do they state that you need an additoinal part(shock bolt) to mount to the brace. now im all finsihed welded on to find this out? get to cut it off and re-do.. speedway needs to update the specs on parts and include ANY other additonal parts needed
