In order to use this in a 69, switching from POWER disc/drum to a POWER disc/disc just because i was regearing the rear end already...without modifying or changing all of the brake lines, the bracket for the proportioning valve cannot be used as shown or must have the front side cut off to get past the shock tower, and the corner 3/8 port for front brake goes directly into the shock tower. An adapter must be used to go to the rear 9/16 port from the factory 7/16 on the line. The front 1/2 lines also need adapters to go to the 3/8 ports. I am installing braided lines instead of the hard lines that come with the kit because they rub against the sheetmetal with how far they stick out and going to move the valve back to the fender area. Outputs from master cylinder ports are 1/2 - 20 to 7/16-24 for rear and 3/8-24 to 1/2-20 for the front. There is long enough factory line to bend where needed. This set up would probably fit if I was only running manual brakes and not power brakes with the booster.
