Finish off your Tribute T-bucket kit with this specifically-engineered rear axle and suspension kit. To accommodate the centered-pinion 9" Ford rear axle, the Tribute T frame features an extra-high rear kick-up and Model A rear crossmember. All suspension mounting brackets (both frame and axle) are fully welded, making this rear axle option a complete bolt-on addition to the Tribute T.

  • Bolt-on option for Tribute T-bucket kit 7151800
  • Medium-arch rear leaf spring with specially designed 36" radius rods
  • Lower links have tie rod ends for a "period correct" appearance
  • Triangulated upper control arms attach to third member with a special bracket
  • Includes 9" Ford rear axle housing with new-style "big bearing" housing ends & 31-spline axle shafts
  • Rearend has a 2-1/2" axle flange/brake offset
  • Axles drilled for 5 on 4-1/2" and 5 on 4-3/4" wheel bolt patterns
  • Third member not included (can be purchased separately)

Hi, the description for this 9" Ford rear end specific for the Tribute-T chassis states; "All suspension mounting brackets (both frame and axle) are fully welded, making this rear axle option a complete bolt-on addition to the Tribute T." If I order just the Tribute-T chassis and later order this specific Tribute-T 9" rear end is there any additional welding to the chassis or rear end needed? Thank you.

I have a tribute t but the 9" rear end is not center pinion and the yolk hits the body. Do you sell a axle housing with brackets and with one end trimmed to center the pinion? The 9" I have is 28 spline.

Even though the title says "Tribute T-Bucket" could the axle be used on an original 1930-31 Ford Model A Cabriolet? If not is there another 9 Inch Ford Rear End that is compatible with the Model A and a Posi-Traction Third Member Assembly # 91048345-28-370 ?

Tribute T rear end I noticed the updated rear suspension features locating links with heim joints. In the interest of being more period correct could a builder safely remove or replace these with something else? Suggestions? Also, could the medium arch spring be swapped for the high arch or would it be too wide for the crossmember? Thanks!
