The part is well made and fits the base of the carb well. Unfortunately it didn't work for my application. Edelbrock 750 carb, performer RPM manifold, 78 Chevy Truck cable linkage. The cable mount is too far forward for this particular setup. Too bad because I really liked this part. If it was adjustable it would have worked. I ended up building a bracket instead.

Put the old Gen 1 350 in my rock crawler. It uses the old YJ throttle cable.. clicked right in and works perfect

I have a great 74 C20. I was very glad that speedway carried a throttle cable bracket that actually fit my Edelbrock carburetor upgrade. Edelbrock doesn't even carry the correct bracket!, on a stock 350 come on. The tech support referred me to other vendors! Super price on a quality item that actually fits properly. Pretty cheap shipping too. I do wish it gave me 1 or 2 more inches between the firewall though because my stock cable has quite the s-bend in it now. But at least it bolts straight on to my stock 350

Fits great but the spring perch hangs up on the Chock plate. I bent the tab straight and then angled it down to 45 degree angle cured the problem. Works great.

Which throttle/kickdown bracket should be used with a 305 chev tied to a th200 trans? Carb is a Holly dual feed. Should I use #2428 or #2418
