Overall Assessment

Customers are consistently satisfied with this fan's performance, praising its cooling abilities, sturdy build, and easy installation. Used across diverse car models and purposes, both for casual and competitive use, the fan is singled out for moving a large volume of air, thus effectively preventing engine overheating. The fan fits well, often without requiring modification, appears well-made and delivers strong airflow even at idle. Some users note it outperforms previously installed flex fans, contributing to significant temperature drops. The fan's quality and functionality make it a repeated purchase for customers, who also highly recommend it to others.

Two thumbs up!

I have a 30' model A with a 350 sbc, no hood, no shroud. I had a stainless flex fan and as long as I was going 15+mph, not an issue. In slow/stop and go traffic, the temp would rise. This fan kicks butt. First time I started the car with the new fan, it was on fast idle and I got out of the car to check things out and as soon as I came around the door I could feel the wind from it blowing. I must admit the fan design did cause it to be closer to the radiator which I'm sure helped a bit. Upon returning home from a test drive, I pulled into the car port and let it idle for 5 minutes. 175, no increase in temp. It worked GREAT for me.

It is okay

Street stock dirt car. Replaced a stock fan with this one to get rid of weight from the clutch and started having overheating issues.

I was having problems with cooling my 1950 ford with a SBC. I added this larger fan with a spacer putting about 3/4" from the radiator and it's cooling great. This is after spending time and money on an electric fan, shrouds, etc with no luck. Sometimes it's the simple fixes!

Did not work on my vehicle. I had to use another fan that I already had. But appeared to be well made. Speedway needs to go back to letting people talk to tech instead of customer service( sales people). It may have save me almost $100 for two fans that I couldn`t use.

I installed this on my Big Block Blazer recently. The fan moves more air than the old flexolite one on the motor. It is solidly made and it is good enough for a dirt track car it is perfect for my Blazer.
