Works as advertised
Purchased this product because my new transmission was electronic not mechanical. Manual transmission had two wires coming off. Black wire went to ground, purple wire attached to green. Super easy to install. When I was calibrating it every time I got to one mile I would hit the button and it wouldn't register it. Found if I used my nail it registered the button being pushed a little better. Ran it with my GPS and they were within a mile of each other. So it does what it is supposed to do, looks good, and was easy to install. The only reason I give it a 4 is because of the button. Compared to other electronic speedometers out there this one is super inexpensive.

I'm sure it would be great if I could get it working as it should..it appears to have some electrical interference that won't let it operate as it should

Lakeside Fabrication is building my 51 Plymouth with a crate 350 eng. and a Mustang front end conversion. I have refinished the dashboard back to a brown faux wood finish. The dash was very time consuming but came out nice and the Speedometer really looks good in it.

Install was simple only issue is the indicator needle flops around at idle. I have rechecked connections and grounds but can't find any issues most puzzling.

I have your electric speedway speedometer, but I need a sender. I have a 700r4 trans that requires a lock up signal. I have a kit that has an adjustable dial for locking the converter up. The trans has a mechanical cable/screw in style sender now. What do you recommend using for a sender for the speedometer?

My Hall effect sender produces a 12 v dc square wave output, this speedometer seems only to allow a 5 Volt square wave input(green wire). What is my next step here? Do you have something to step this input voltage down to where I can utilize this electronic speedometer?
