Odometer loses its accumulated miles

This speedometer is part of a custom cluster in a 1940 Ford with TH350 transmission. I used a sender I already owned. Hookup was very easy. Calibration is clumsy but gets close enough. After putting over 100 miles on the car the odometer suddenly reset to 0. This dramatically reduces the value of the speedometer since I can't track maintenance. I have two other hotrods with electronic speedos manufactured by different companies; both have tens of thousands of miles and they don't reset like this. Documentation is fine for installation & hook-up, but no mention of the trip odometers is made. I believe there are two, denoted by one or two dashes to the left. When selected, press and hold the button to clear.

Running on a T5 with a Mustang sender. It hooked up easily and started right up when programed. BUT about every 1000 miles it goes coo coo and bounces around on start up then registers max speed till it's reprogrammed. Reset it works great for another 1000 miles. It's a pain to have to reset it and you lose your accumulated mileage so it's a guess on total mileage. All connections are tight with a good ground.

Directions arent very clear, but otherwise is good

had issues installing it with the sensor on a ford 8.8" otherwise the directions weren't very clear and I had trouble wiring it up correctly

I liked the speedo so much on a project build that I bought a complete set for my personal 58 Chevy pickup

Used behind a classic faceplate for LS swap

This is perfect for doing an LS swap for me. I put an escalade 6l into my 78 gmc, and I was able to mount a stock faceplate to this and change the pulses ratio from the ecu to read perfectly. As a bonus, even the old needle fits the new gauge. 10/10

Considering the price tag, well worth it.

I retrofit this for my 1972 GMC gauge cluster along with the tach from speedway. Easy to wire to my 92 GM NV4500. Simply ran two wires to the gauge and calibrated. I couldn't get it to work properly by entering the 4000PPM for the NV4500 VSS, so I just downloaded a gps app for my phone, and calibrated it to a measured mile. Seems spot on for speed. I will say the Odometer is not easy to read, but considering the price tag in comparison with similar products, it's something I can overlook.
