Speedway Motors 91017084 Details
It's made of polished cast aluminum and is 4" tall. The base measures 1-3/4" x 4-3/4". The top of this breather is NOT removeable. Breather includes a lower baffle plate in addition to featuring internal layer type baffle where one plate is over the other. It allows the air to breath, but keeps the oil baffled below.
Includes mounting bolts/nuts, breather baffle plate, and gasket.

Nostalgic piece
I've mounted this piece on my cast aluminum rocker arm cover.very much like the original Offenhauser vents were mounted. It's a little smaller than the Offenhauser vent but very functional. A nice uncommon class act on a classic engine that does not have a PCV system

Splash shield
The inner splash shield rubbed my rocker arms, so I removed it. I was getting a very minor leak at the cork gasket, so I replaced it with a paper/plastic gasket. In the future, I'll scuff the breather and valve cover surface to aid the RTV in sealing. Other wise, a very nice piece.
