- This rack & pinion mount bushing fits both power and manual Mustang II/Pinto racks
- Sold individually - (2) needed per rack
- Specifications of bushing are 1.33" Diameter on the big end, 1.32" diameter on the small end and has a 0.66" I.D.
- These bushings are pressed or pushed in from the front with the flange or lip to the front of the vehicle
- It is common when the bolts are tightened up to split the lip or flange and this can be trimmed off using a utility knife once the rack is installed

How are these installed? Do I replace the existing bushing or just the back bushing and then use the metal .75 spacers? What about the extra rubber, looks like it would get in the way. Thanks Don

Would it not be better to order the two piece bushing that has the shoulders rather than having the chance of movement with relying on just squishing it?

It seems the rubber portion of the bushing is longer than necessary. What's the correct way to install these bushings? Should the excess rubber be trimmed or should it be compressed (smashed) by a large washer? Thanks.......Kurt
