It has a high-output module, high-spark 65,000-volt coil, solid brass terminals, and an easy, one-wire hookup .Fits 1964 and later Oldsmobile V8 (260-455)

For race/ off road use or for use on pre-1966 vehicles.

Emissions warning: this part only legal for sale or use in California for racing (competition) vehicles which may never be used, registered, or licensed for use upon a public highway, or if installed in vehicles model-year 1965 or older; motorcycles model-year 1977 or older; or off-highway recreational vehicles (such as off-road motorcycles and all-terrain vehicles) model-year 1996 and older. This H.E.I. distributor replaced one that I bought in 2006 for $149.95. I suspected a bad ignition module after first swapping in a different coil, and the current price is so good that I just bought a new distributor. I plan to rebuild the 2006 distributor for a really good spare.
