This often spells disaster by either allowing the ramp to tip over or for it to slide along the ground, preventing the front tires from riding up the ramp. Furthermore, these steel ramps often get in the way of side access under the car as well. Using a low-profile vehicle ramp set is a safer alternative when needing to use auto service ramps for under car access.

A 9.5-Degree Ramp Angle Prevents Vehicle Contact with The Drive on Car Ramp 

A big issue with traditional steel drive up ramps is the steep ramp angle. For most hot rods, muscle cars, and other performance vehicles with a lowered ride height all you end up doing is hitting the ramps with your vehicle’s front end before the tires get anywhere near the auto service ramps. Our heavy-duty car ramps are designed with a nearly 52-inch length and just a 9.5-degree ramp angle, allowing most any lowered vehicle to easily have the front tires reach the drive on car ramp face without any contact with the vehicle’s front bodywork. These same low-profile ramps can then be removed from the ramp base, as they can be lifted off the base for quick detachment, providing increased side vehicle access. Also, unlike the old steel drive up ramps, our long car ramps are 15-inches wide, allowing wide performance rubber to safely navigate the plastic car ramps up to the wheel pocket at the front of the plastic vehicle ramp.
