Customers highly recommend the product for its perfect fit, especially in modified applications like 1991 s10s and c4 Corvettes. Some note improvements in handling. There are comments on its reliable performance and high quality. However, a boot inclusion is suggested, and its absence has been pointed out for enhanced protection against debris. Comparisons highlight our superior quality over competitor products despite a slightly higher friction level. Overall, it's preferred for its durability even in rugged conditions transforming it into a choice product for racing purposes.

Fits c4 corvette!
I used this on a 1984 c4 corvette, the bolt pattern and the taper are the same. The bottom of the tapered hole in the c4 upper spindle however was .015 too small and needed to be drilled with a 1/2" bit to get the ball joint shaft to drop in. The provided washer is also too thick and needs replacement for this application. This ball joint gives exactly 1" of raise vs the factory c4 joint.

Lack of quality, but you get what you pay for.
I needed a quality extended shaft ball joint, and low friction was a secondary concern. With this part, I got a ball joint that was indeed low (no) friction, but it had about .010 play in the socket, which was not acceptable. On top of that, the ball and grease are exposed to debris, which was a concern being I did not want to replace these ball joints frequently. I later purchase a more expensive AFCO low friction extended ball joint that had no play, but slight amount of friction, with a boot. I was perfect, so I ordered another one.
