Exhaust Silencer

Used them to quiet down a drone noise that my aftermarket turbo mufflers were making at highway speeds. They worked perfectly. They fit right inside my 3 inch muffler tips. I put one stainless steel screw from the bottom of the muffler tip through the exhaust silencer and then used JB cold weld epoxy, with metal in its recipe, to cold weld stainless steel acorn nuts on the top of those screws and it looks great.

This Baffle Saved Me So Much Money & Works Perfect

I have a 2011 Mustang GT with Flowmaster exhaust. The exhaust have a terrible drone at 2000 rpm. Pipes are 3" so I ordered the 3" baffle. They were a little big, so I had to bend one side slightly so they slid in. I left the other side as is and tapped them in so they had a nice tight fit. This saved my full stainless exhaust that was going to be super expensive to replace. I didn't want to drive the car because of the drone. I bought S&R mufflers to replace the Flowmaster, but they did not fit. Stock is a doughnut connection and the Flowmasters have a slip fit. My choice was to replace the pipes with stock, or find another option. I am so glad I found these baffles. The drone is literally gone! I am so happy that a $60 fix was all it took! I estimate the DBs dropped about 2-3 at the most, but I can't do an actual sound measurement. So pretty much as advertised.

I did not use the product "as recommend" someone put true dual 3 inch exhaust on this 08 Silverado 2500 6.0L LS and it was loud and would drone on the highway, I stuffed these into the end of the tailpipes and zip screwed them in and they actually helped, its still loud but its liveable and no drone

Muffler Insert

This 3 inch diameter insert slide right onto the tailpipe with no modifications. The insert lowered the sound by 12db. I wanted more, however the reduction I got is amazing.

I would buy again

This product fit well in the headers and makes them lighter than the other styles. These are a little louder than I was expecting and hoping for but it is only because I am used to others.

Used behind with auger insert. Amazed how much the combination quieted down the open headers with a 15 inch extension. Put these in the extension. Tapped auger in with hammer same with baffle. Might need a screw or spot weld to hold in baffle depends on your pipes.

Knocks the edge off.

Just installed in Hooker header collector of 80 cutlass with blueprint 383/420hp, 2 1/2 pipes and Cherrybomb pro mufflers. Knocked the sharp edge and rasp off the exhaust and made the exhaust more linear. Don't know that it quieted a lot but did make a difference in the sound. Much more livable.
