Just What the Doctor Ordered...
I ordered this shaft and a 9/32 reamer and found the combination to work well. Even after reaming my carburetor throttle shaft bore to 9/32, a bit of honing or lapping was required (with some valve grinding compound) to make the shaft turn easily with the throttle plates in place. My application was a single carb setup, so the extra length of the shaft was cut off.

Larger than expected
Even using the suggested drill bit size and reamer it was too big to fit in the carb base. I milled it down to get it to spin freely

This shaft is just what you need, to get the old rusty 94 working as good as new! The hard part is getting the old shaft out.

This product is awesome. The throttle shafts are smooth and the slots for the plates are crisplu cut without any burrs as is the threading for the screws. It is a bit oversized to make up for time worn 94 bases so expect to ream the holes a little. Overall a very impressive replacement part
