Overall Assessment

Customers commend the product for its compatibility with a range of parts, its robust build, and its great fit. Despite some needed modifications for specific models, the product has a good reputation for strength, quality, and heavy-duty performance. The coating also prevents quick rusting which users appreciate. There is widespread endorsement for this product in terms of its easy adaptation and functionality, even in custom or vintage builds. However, the product's ability to fit universally on straight axles and work flawlessly is particularly highlighted. With some slight adjustments, users find the product consistently meets their needs, even in specialized applications like lowered I beams for specific models. Despite some pricing criticism, users continue to endorse the quality and effectiveness of the parts.

Very heavy duty, great fit

Take note that these WILL NOT work with tapered tie rod ends, which requires that you also replace the drag link and other tie rod ends to Heim joints (spherical ball joints) of 5/8". The ramifications to drag link and other components was not listed at my time of purchase. Mine are for '47 Ford Deluxe Tudor sedan. These also require spacers to mount on round back forged spindles with disc brake caliper-mount.

Bought these steering arms to use on a 41 willys front axle conversion i did. Used the factory axle with the speedway 37-48 ford round back spindles allowing me to convert to disc brakes instead of the factory willys drum brakes.

I have a 4" dropped tube axle Spring behind and was wondering if this is the arms i need to use with the shackle shock mount kit 715150 with Hairpins and frame? Current stock arm on 37-48 Ford spindles will not allow tie rod to install as position interferes with shackle shock stud. I need an arm to push tie rod rearward in vehicle and just above lower tube of hairpin.

I purchased Speedway Spindles and these steering arms. The spindles have a machined recess for the disc brake mounting nuts. Are there spaces to put into the recess before mounting the arms OR am I supposed to have the recess machined out to accommodate the arms??

I have already ordered your disc brake conversion kit number 910–31914 . Will these steering arms work in conjunction with that ? Can they be bolted in place of the spacers provided with the caliper brackets ?

Ackerman Angle Will using these steering arms in conjunction with front end kit #913-39006 and Ford spindle kit #910-32104 produce proper Ackerman. I have noticed that after assembly the centerline of the king pin and the center line of the tie-rods do not lie on the exact same line (with respect to the center of the rear end). Should this be a concern, or was this engineered into your front end?
