A Single Layer Racing Suit Perfect for The Sportsman Racer
We know racing gets expensive and that there are inherent dangers to the sport. But that doesn’t mean you can’t be safe while keeping your racing budget in check. For those sportsman level “weekend racers” that do not require multi-layer Nomex suits to compete in, our single layer fire retardant cotton (FRC) racing suits are a great option.
Our SFI-1 driving suit offers peace of mind and when it comes to fire protection. The single-layer, SFI 3.2A/1 fire suits have a TPP (Thermal Protection Performance) rating of 6, promising up to three seconds of protection from second degree burns. While three seconds doesn’t sound like much time, with practice you should easily be able to release your harness and exit your race car within that time frame. One Piece Racing Suits Provide Increased Protection
The one-piece driving suit construction offers protection over a two-piece fire suit in that there is no gap between the pants and jacket for a potential flame/heat path to reach your skin. This fire suit is lab tested SFI 3.2A/1 fire resistant and comes in four color options: black, gray, blue, or red and is available in sizes S-XXL. Dual reinforced epaulets give safety crews a secure grab point in the event of extraction from the car. A great suit for the price.
This suit is made awesome. The only recommendation I have is to order bigger for yourself. These run smaller than their chart advises. I should have been able to fit in a large but I ordered the extra large to have some extra room. It was good I bought the larger size as this suit fit like a glove. A large would have been too small. I am 5 foot 10 inches tall and large build.

I have to say I read the other reviews and lots of buy next size up and I am glad I did. I wear large for 90% of everything and this I ordered XL and it fits like a glove literally I love it. This is a very good value for your money. Highly recommend.
