While ten seconds doesn’t sound like much time, with practice you should easily be able to release your harness and exit your race car within a period that the TPP rating will be sufficient. Two Piece Racing Suits Provide the Best Fit for All Body Types 

The popular one-piece driving suit construction often creates issues with those of differing body types. If you have a short inseam, but perhaps bigger across the chest, a one piece suit that fits in the chest area will usually mean overly long pants legs that bunch up. Opting for a two piece suit combination means you can choose different sizes for your driving suit pants and your jacket. For example, you may utilize a “Large” pants size and a “X-Large” jacket size for the best fit. Dual reinforced epaulets give safety crews a secure grab point in the event of extraction from the car, while the elastic wrist cuffs minimize heat and fire entry. The pants feature a boot cut with stirrups that provide more protection around the ankles while preventing the pant legs from riding up.

Additional features of these racing suit jackets and pants include 360-degree arm gussets for increased range of motion and driving comfort and a knit-lined collar with hook and loop closure. The racing suit features a shiny finish that helps prevent dirt accumulation yet is completely washable in standard home appliances using any one of our racing suit cleaner products.
