    The Speedway Motors Eliminator Performance Manifold has all the same great features as the Qualifier Manifolds, but with the addition of an open space underneath the plenum chamber. The gap underneath allows for a cooler air charge coming into the motor that results in a jump in performance and power. This style of intake manifold has become very popular over the years, as they are a proven design that puts the power to the ground! The Eliminator series is setup to run a standard square bore carb, as well as featuring nitrous bosses, four corner water ports and dual distributor tie downs. When looking for additional power, without sacrificing the streetability of your ride, look no further than the Eliminator Manifolds from Speedway Motors!

    This intake fit my budget and my engine at the same time. Fit was good, porosity of the aluminum is good, gasket surface machining was good, and so far no leaks. This intake also fit my desired powerband, and made an improvement in breathing, fuel distribution, and weight reduction on the front end.

    I'm using this intake on a 289 with an Edelbrock 1406 carburetor. It helped with low end torque, and didn't fall off by the engines 5500 rpm redline. Driveability is excellent The machining was very good, and the gasket surfaces flat and true. It sealed to the heads perfectly. I did have to clean up some casting flash left in one runner, and below the carburetor flange. That took about 5 minutes.
