This fire suit is lab tested SFI 3.2A/5 fire resistant, made of washable FRC (fire retardant cotton) and comes in three color options: black, blue or red. Box quilting in contrasting color provides for pro-grade fit and style in a driving suit, and is available in sizes S-XXL.
SFI 3.2A/5 Racing Suit has 3X the Thermal Protection over SFI 3.2A/1 Basic Suit
Our SFI-5 driver suits offer peace of mind and improved fire protection. The 2-layer, SFI 3.2A/5 racing suits have a TPP (Thermal Protection Performance) rating of 19, promising up to 10 seconds of protection from second degree burns. Husker Motorsports FSAE 2 Layer Suit review
I am a driver for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Formula SAE team and we have been using this suit for the 2014-2015 season. I am incredibly pleased with the performance of the suit and how incredibly comfortable it is. Luckily I have not had an opportunity to test it's fire resistance though.

I ordered a 2 x and its so tight across the chest I had to send it back. I have an XL impact that is bigger. not sure if it was a fluke but it is most assuredly not a 2x suit.

The suit appears to be well made. Be sure to order at least one size larger than the size table shows. Had to exchange mine for the next size up. They seem to run small in the upper body and shoulders. When I got the larger one it fit much better but still a little tighter in the shoulders than I prefer but it's doing the job. It's not a custom tailored suit so I'm fine. The price was reasonable and the protection is what I need.
