Speedway Motors 91720031 Details
This ball joint uses the Ford taper found on Mustang II/Pinto spindles. Common on IMCA Modifieds - very durable and economical replacement item. Will not fit stock GM upper A-frame.
This ball joint will NOT fit the stock taper in a 1963-71 GM truck spindle. To use this with GM-type spindles the upper taper must be reamed with reamer 910-89411.
Same as Moog K6024.

Big ball joint
Nice product although was delivered heavily scratched. You are required to ream out your stock spindles to fit these larger ball joints in a 70-81 camaro.

Threads on shaft stripped while installi
Can't recommend this one. The price is right, and the ball joint itself looks big and beefy, but the threads on the shaft stripped while bolting it up to the spindle on my IMCA modified. I was using a short open end wrench and it wasn't remotely tight when it stripped. The nut would not unthread and I had to grind it off. Whoever is making theses, their machining is decent but their metallurgy is terrible.
