This stock style replacement gas tank for 1956 F100 Ford pickups mounts on the inside of your cab behind the seat.
- 18 gallon capacity
- Accepts 6-hole fuel sending units
- Feeds from top of tank and includes an internal stand pipe; same as OEM
- 54" x 18" x 7" (this includes a 1" lip on both the front and the back side, and also a 1.25" lip on each side)

I tried to rescue my orignal tank but by the time I took and had it boiled out and sealed it was more money than buying a new one. The new one shipped out quick and fit like a glove and I belive it's the same guage as the orignal. It even has a bung in the bottom like the orignal did so you can drain it out for long term storage, I would recomend using a brass plug in it. All in all I'm very happy with my new tank.

Will this tank work in a 1956 F-800 Big Job Edition. My current tank is trashed but looks to be the same and is 18 gallons. Fuel fill neck on my tank is on the right (passenger) side. Is this tank in stock?
