Spectre's Chevy small block timing chain cover kit is designed to protect engine components like timing gears and the timing chain. This kit features a triple chrome plated steel construction and includes a pre-installed seal, base gasket, (10) 12-point screws and a 12 point socket. This timing cover kit is engineered for optimum fit and function and it is designed to fit Chevy 265-400 Small block engines.

Disappointed it did not include a new oil pan gasket for the bottom. Old one was too "fat" to squeeze in. Had to buy separately with new rim gasket. Looks great. Like the bolt heads and included special socket. No leaks once the pan gasket was found.
I might buy this again.

I have a 283 chevy small block in my T-Bucket that's bored to a 292 with a 30/30 vette cam in it. Would the timing still be 4 degrees BTDC like stock? Any info would be helpful. Thanks!
