These lake style header kits allow you to build your own weld up headers and tailor them to your vehicle. All tubing comes pre-bent. Tapered cones can be trimmed as needed. Lakester header kit includes parts to complete both sides. Fits Ford 289-351W.

I've always wanted to build a set of these headers, so I finally bit the bullet and took the challenge. Tubing is heavy enough to weld with my mig. All the parts fit well, although fitting the round pipe to the oval port was the challenging part. After the first couple tubes I was moving right along. I simply squeezed them in my vise, and as long as I didnt get in a hurry, it was quite easy after awhile. The look is awesome and I can say I did it myself.

Very complete kit; good value! Of course it challenges fabrication skills but end result looks good on my half-completed '32 Loboy. Some components did have rust but not a problem as bead blasting was done.

This is a great kit, all the parts were of good quality, no problems fitting, it is manufactured by Patriot. The only complaint I have is that I was shorted on the header bolts. I ordered a kit for a Ford and this was a Chevy kit that they just added a pair of Ford flanges to, which is fine but they did not think to add extra header bolts, I got 12 and needed 16. If you can weld and fab and want to save some bucks this is a good kit, not for beginners though. I liked how you can fit it exactly to your project.

Do you offer baffles to fit the cones? I'm not going to run any exhaust other than the headers. I am going to use turn outs but i'm wondering if it will be "too" loud. Putting them on a 29 model A four door with a 347 stroker. Also whats the difference between the 3.5" and 4" cones? Just the looks or is there a performance difference?
