good deal

I bought the flywheel pressure plate and clutch to replace an old 30 pound flywheel and stock clutch and pressure plate. My clutch pedal is as smooth as butter and very progressive easy to control engagement. My up shifting and down shifting was improved. The motor was more responsive and easier to heel and toe down shift.

This is called a steel flywheel in the catalog but in reality is a cast iron flywheel. Very disappointed, they offered to take it back but I was in a bind and had to get a customers engine dynoed so now I own it .

Highly recommend. I've been daily driving this flywheel for over 5 years and have almost 70,000 miles on it. I've changed clutch once just because I changed transmissions and went from a course spline to a fine spline clutch disc. It's noticeably lighter than the 30 pound slug GM normally uses and makes for really nice heel toe downshifts with a snappy carb or Efi.

Have fitted on my 4.3L V6 chevy engine with one piece rear oil seal, most V8 parts fit as the 4.3L is a shorter version of the V8, very pleased with Flywheel, reduced the weight significantly.
