Overall Assessment

The product, an oil filter kit, receives positive reviews from users for its practicality and usability, particularly in relation to engine customization projects. Customers confirm that it is easy to install and allows for convenient relocation of the oil filter. The kit is appreciated for its quality and functionality, even in high-performance vehicles like racing cars. However, customers note that threads for fittings may need re-tapping. They also highlighted the need to monitor oil level due to the extended lines. A few users lauded the product's versatility, being compatible with both Ford and Chevy engines—a major advantage that sets it apart from other products in the market.

I used this setup many years ago in my 1974 Nova with a hot 350.If you will plumb it carefully it will not leak. You will need to watch your oil level as the length of the lines will need more oil. I straight line raced this car and never had a drop of oil leak or a component failure.

Remote Filter

Bought this to move the oil filter away from the header in my Stock Car. The biggest issue with it is the threads for the fittings needed to be re-tapped. I bought the Chevy and the Ford version and both had the same issue. If you purchase this, make sure to have a tap ready to go.
