CARE & MAINTENANCE

To wash, remove the pilot chute and tie or band shroud lines with a string approximately every eight inches. Machine wash in warm water with a mild detergent. Hand dry. DO NOT MACHINE DRY.

AFTER DEPLOYMENT

Turn off the strip and stop immediately after the canvas collapses. Pulling the chute along the ground is the major cause of wear. Never allow the chute to become excessively dirty. Not only does the appearance suffer, the wear is accelerated. Chutes should be repacked and checked periodically before competition to insure proper deployment (this is especially important at high altitude tracks).
