Speedway Motors 91032611 Details
For use with our GM style column mount shift indicator housings and lenses.
(Note) If your column does not have the provision to hold/affix the pointer as replicated on the original GM columns, this pointer must be glued onto the column or affixed to the column by the installer. When the tilt is actuated on that type of column, it will pull the pointer away from the indicator lens/housing assembly. This pointer and shift indicator housing and lens assembly is not recommended for use with any aftermarket column that does not have the provision to accept and hold the pointer in place as replicated by the origina GM type columns.
Application
For 70's-80's GM style columns.

Made for Chevy van as a replacement
This pointer was made to fit the old Chevy van column. On a newer column there is no place to mount the indicator. On the old Van/truck column there is a slot on the column that the indicator slips into to hold it in place.

Works, is affordable, lacks instructions
I ended up using epoxy to secure to shifter collar on steering column, not sure how it's supposed to be mounted, but it works for a 700r4 in place of a 3 on the tree.
