Seals-It WS5001 Details
These rod end seals are a neoprene rubber seal bonded to an aircraft quality washer. Extends the life of your rod ends by keeping the dirt, debris and moisture out of the spherical ball. They fit on both sides of the ball end of the heim joint and are sized to match the hole in the spherical ball.
For use with standard and Pro 1 Series rod end only. Sold in sets of six, which will cover both sides of three rod ends.

Worked well
Nice strong seal. Fits nicely and easily with through-bolt style of heim joints, however when used with the style that bolts between 2 brackets, the seals do make the joint slightly wider. Worth modifying and fitting though.

Keeps dirt and corrosion out
These fit with American star rods and ends. I added a lock washer to get a better fit rather tha ordering both a 3/8" and 1/2" size. These seals prevent dust and corrosion(siezing). A known issue with open heim style joints. I would rate these very high but the set comes with 6 rather than 4 or 8. Forces you to order more than you need. Very dishonest.

I am not sure why you get 6 pieces when yo buy these, most of the time any installation would use a even number of rod ends, so packs of 4 or 8 would make more sense.

What is the actual thickness of the washer itself (need the washer thickness for knowing how much clearence on both sides of a hiem joint is needed)
