Scat 2-350-6000-2000-QLS Details

These steel H-beam rods are as light and strong as you can get at a price you can afford. They use 7/16" ARP 8740 bolts and will clear most stroker cranks and cams. They accept 2" small journal bearings, so double check your crank.

Greetings, I'm using these rods in a bored and stroked 4.6 liter Rover V8. It's now 3.8 bore x 3.4 stroke (308cid# I've been building aluminum Buick/Olds/Pontiac/Rover V8's since 1970. It's a common high performance modification on these engines too use small block Chevy 2.0" journal rods. The big end has to be narrowed from .940 to .842. These rods are very unique with the lightening hole, and the h-beam is light and very well machined. For my application they are perfect. They were very close when balanced with just 2 rods needing a small amount removed from the small end. Big ends were spot on. I'm buying another set for a 3.0 x 3.8" engine. #270cid# Thanks for the free shipping! J
