NOTES
- Will not fit tall deck blocks
- Will not fit if using a governor
- Distributor gear is most compatible with cast iron hydraulic or solid flat tappet camshafts; consult cam manufacturer for recommended gear material
PerTronix 40011 Flame-Thrower Coil
- The hotter the spark, the easier your engine will start, and this 40,000 volt coil is just the ticket to a quick start!
- Its higher voltage allows larger spark plug gaps for added power, smoother response and better fuel economy
- These coils are internally resisted so they are compatible with many inductive ignition systems
- 40,000 volts
- Black finish for that "stock look"
- For use with 12 volt inductive ignition systems
- 1.5 Ohm primary resistance.
- Legal in all 50 states and Canada
MSD 5554 Street-Fire Spark Plug Wires Set
- Street Fire low resistance spark plug wires feature a low resistance conductor that’s wrapped in a sleek and durable black sleeve
- The terminals are covered in black boots that protect the conductor from engine heat to ensure spark delivery
- Street Fire spark plug wires have the quality youve come to expect from MSD Ignition at a price thats comparable to other brands
- Features spiral-wound, low-resistance conductors and high suppression capabilities, with 90 degree boots
- Long enough to go over valve covers
- Helically wound conductor suppresses electro and radio noise
- Kevlar core combination for great strength and durability
- Heavy duty terminals for secure connection

Vintage look, works great, but coil died quickly
Love this distributor! It looks great in the the engine compartment and it's worked reliably. It's easy to adjust the curve and time it. The downside is that the flamethrower coil died on me within months. And yes I had it hooked up to 12v, triggered by a relay, so no I didn't wire it up wrong. Speedway replaced it for me no problem but I still had to deal with being stranded while picking up dinner with my 12 year old. Had to walk to an auto parts store and get a regular coil. Thank god I left the old resistor wire in there and could wire it up. Haven't had a problem since but I still carry a regular coil with me just in case.

Imagine my surprise when i opened the package and the distributor was not the brand i ordered and also was a female cap rather than male cap. The plugwires they are the male hei type, not this. What a joke.

The kit was great, as advertised, unfortunately it did not work for my application. I planned to use it on my 68 Corvette, the distributor would not fit under my factory shielding, and the wires were too short to route with the shielding also. no biggie, i have several other SBC vehicles to use this kit on.

Everything was going so smooth untill the coil install . First of all the bracket is the wrong way and that red thing that connects the coil wire is trally bad . Im hoping i can get a different wire for the coil . If you have one at speedway can you let me know thanks
