Made it fit
I bought this for my Shelby CSX Cobra. I had to take a small belt sander to the inside and remove some metal. I took a little bit at a time until it snapped on. I searched for this boot for a while with no luck. I ordered one from Shelby part's distributor and it didn't fit. I ordered 2 in case I messed one up. With the Cost of shipping I didn't want to take a chance of having to order a second one. Shipping was fast

They don't actually fit
These do not fit the Mustang Ii control arms I bought from Speedway motors. The sealing surface is 1/8" larger than the ID of the sleeve it is supposed to fit. They are also about 1/8" taller. Customer service sent me replacements that they removed from some control arms that did fit.

The original part sat for a couple of years before I started assembling the ifs. It was cracking at that time. This boot looks great. I still don't like the idea that boots aren't held in place. Bought different upper ball joint that had a wire retainer to hold in place. Modified the lower control arm to hold boot in place

I purchased an all-in-one front suspension kit for my 1973 Road Runner. The upper ball joint boots in the kit weren't even close. These fir perfectly!
