I use them for endurance racing. I've replaced the foam inserts once already. The foam inserts swap off/on easily. Cord is not too long to get snagged on everything. You may still need to tape over your ears ...as when the helmet goes over them, they can pull from your ears. If the audio "tube" is closed over when it goes into your ear, you'll think these are broken and actually, you just need to put them in again and not close the audio tube up in the process.
