Jack, quit being cheap and buy the Quick Fuel SL‑750‑VS already. I swear, you'll spend three weekends trying to "make what you've got work" instead of just bolting on something that actually knows what it's doing. I put that Slayer on, hit the key, and it settled in cleaner than anything you've been fighting with. No cold‑blooded nonsense, no coughing, no "hold on while I warm up" attitude. It just ran. Out on the road? Smooth secondaries, clean pull, no bog. Exactly what a street motor wants. You can cruise it like normal, then hammer it and it wakes right up without acting stupid. Tuning it was a joke — in a good way. Sight glasses, everything responds, no fuel shower across the intake. Couple tweaks and it was dialed. Meanwhile you're over there trying to save fifty bucks and living with a carb that hates you. Just get the Quick Fuel. Bolt it on, forget about it, and stop torturing yourself. You'll spend more on beer complaining about your current carb than the difference in price. If you want it even more ruthless — like "Jack, I'm staging an intervention for your wallet" — I can push it further.
