The product received mixed reviews though overall customers praised the product's ingenuity for making the installation and removal of starters effortless. It is lauded as a practical accessory for racing cars and large vehicles, with prominent features like weather-proof connectors garnering particular attention. However, concerns are raised regarding the durability, particularly of the wiring and connectors. Several customers experienced the product melting or burning out, suggesting the need for higher quality materials or a design modification. A common request was for lengthier wires for flexible and comfortable usage. Despite a handful of critical reviews, many customers stated they would repurchase the product because it simplified a previously difficult aspect of car maintenance and customization. A notable suggestion was the addition of a secondary starter nut to enhance the product's convenience.

This is the ticket!
Easy to install. Will make future replacement of the starter a snap. Now I don't have to reach way up into the headers to remove nuts that I can only feel and not see. Yes, regardless of what others say, the wiring is the correct size, same as the original wiring on my 1956 Chevrolet. This coupled with the well priced mini starter is the only way to go.

Not sure I'd try this again
After the second time I started the car, one of end of the Quick Connect burned off, so the reason for using it was eliminated. I had to cut it out, and hard wire to the starter so I didn't return it. The idea for it is good, but the product wasn't.

Install was easy. After only three months of use, the wires and plastic melted inside of the connector and was almost impossible to "unplug" the connector. Will go back and re-wire the starter wires and no longer will I use a quick disconnect....

Just to confirm, the purple spade connector is for "start" on ignition switch and the red wire is for coil. I also purchased the Pertronix 3 distributor so I should be able to wire the above red wire right to positive side of coil, correct?
