I recently converted the 302 Ford in my '63 Falcon to a Tri-Power Carb system and needed to make up a linkage to operate the throttle. These QD ball joints were perfect for the job and the quick disconnect feature is a nice plus. I can say that when they are locked in place you won't have to worry about it falling off but if you want to disconnect it, it is a snap. Good quality and nicely made.

We used these joints to make a control bar that was both flexible and easily disconnected for a bumper car for a child with cerebral palsy. Worked perfectly.

Installing an Offenhauser intake manifold with three Holley 1904 carbs. I used two of these to make the linkage work and it did!
