    These washable, push-in pleated gauze valve cover breathers are available with a shield. The formed rubber nipple pushes into a 1.22" valve cover hole.

    For race/ off road use or for use on pre-1966 vehicles.

    Emissions warning: this part only legal for sale or use in California for racing (competition) vehicles which may never be used, registered, or licensed for use upon a public highway, or if installed in vehicles model-year 1965 or older; motorcycles model-year 1977 or older; or off-highway recreational vehicles (such as off-road motorcycles and all-terrain vehicles) model-year 1996 and older.     Used this on my old pickup truck. Did a valve cover swap. Bought some smaller breathers with grommets initially, and they were blowing oil everywhere. Bought these and the problem stopped completely. These don't require grommets, btw. Good breathers ! 👍

    The rubber grommets fit very tightly, which is great, but it is difficult to get them into the valve covers without skewing the filter element somewhat. Otherwise, they look clean and I'm pleased with them.

    The product is made of good quality. I just cant get the rub fitting to remain in the valve cover hole. I am in the process of sending them back in exchange for the one the slide over the tube.
