Procar 81524 Seat Bracket, RH/LH Side, 1955-1957 Chevy Bel Air

This mounting is a major time saver

Unfortunately I am missing four bolts and washers that mount the Procar seats to this bracket. I called customer service and after being put on hold was told it didn't come with any hardware. Not true as I received four of the eight bolts and washers.

I'm tall and very pleased with the height as after I installed the seats and adjusted my driver's seat, I didn't have to adjust the mirrors meaning that the seating position was the same as the bench seat I removed that was a comfortable position for me. I had to slightly open up a couple of the bolt holes with a rotary file to match the original holes. No surprise as these cars had some variations in how various parts mounted from the factory. I also had to put a couple of slight dimples in the floor to clear the feet, again due to the same factory variations.

Great fit and height, clears the transmission tunnel didn't have to do any cutting. Did have to touch up paint on mount don't know if it happened before it was shipped or during shipping

Good option for easy seat mounting.

I like items that save me having to modify my car to make them work. This saves having to fabricate bucket seat mounting brackets.

Had to cut welds and extend frame 3/8" to align with floor bolt holes. Had to cut 1/4" off all four rear mounts for the tracks to get them to fit properly requiring me to repaint this brand new made to fit seat mounting adapter
