Replaced QA1 w/8" springs with these longer shocks and 10" springs in my classic truck. Heidt's MII. They went in fine and my ride height is now where I want it. Well made.

Coil Over shocks VS regular shocks / Springs What is the difference and/or advantage of coil over shocks versus conventional shocks and springs. Cost, easier to install, more efficient, better. what? I can see where conventional shocks and springs would be harder to remove and also to install for a novice such as I. In relation to conventional shocks, what is meant by stroke and are coil over springs rated different? Does stroke mean play? I am at a loss as to which way to go. Can you give me some facts and suggestions to help me decide? My project is for a 1932 ford fenderless pickup with a 350 S/B and a 350 turbo automatic. Sorry for the amateurish question.....
